Extreme Trailers is seeking mechanics skilled in installing, aligning, maintaining, repairing, and fabricating components for a variety of mechanical equipment such as industrial pumps, hydraulic controls, regulators, welders, valves, piping systems, conveyors, and oxygen production and semi-trailer manufacturing equipment. Typical duties may include tasks in the following areas: Repairing
  • Diagnosing, disassembling, and removing damaged parts from equipment; reassembling and testing for normal function Installation of Equipment
  • Preparing for installation; installing equipment, using hand/power tools, welding, cutting, and a variety of rigging equipment Machine Operation
  • Selecting stock, setting up machines, using precision measuring equipment, operating machining equipment, and checking part functionality Plumbing and Pipe Work
  • Troubleshooting problems, determining required materials, isolation of piping, performing plumbing repairs; designing and laying out new piping projects, planning, coordinating, ordering materials, and assembling and performing leakage tests Parts Design/Redesign
  • Analyzing part failure/malfunction, considering alternatives, using precision measuring equipment, and drawing revisions of new parts Preventive Maintenance
  • Performing routine scheduled maintenance tasks related to lubrication, filtering systems, driving components, equipment adjustments; condition monitoring measurements, and performing tests on plant equipment Ventilating Equipment
  • Performing routine maintenance of related equipment, performing minor repairs, and preparing brief reports on equipment condition
Qualifications:
  • 5 + years' experience
  • 3+ years' welding
  • Electrical Diagnose skills
