Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical components to minimize downtime. Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts to upgrade or install new equipment or systems. Conduct air conditioning repairs and service to ensure optimal climate control within facilities. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with construction teams during renovations or new installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general equipment maintenance. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with construction practices and safety protocols related to building maintenance. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance projects effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnosing issues quickly and accurately. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
