In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of a diverse range of equipment and systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless operation of our facilities. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues using schematics and technical manuals. Perform appliance repairs and service tasks efficiently to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex system problems accurately. Assist with HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair tasks related to air conditioning systems and ventilation units. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during construction or major repair projects to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to restore critical systems swiftly while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Knowledge of refrigeration principles and equipment repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to construction environments or industrial settings is highly desirable. Leadership experience in supervising or mentoring junior technicians is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to effectively diagnose issues and explain solutions.
