• ?Maintenance Mechanic $30/hr!!! (Fairfield, Ohio)
• _As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for observing good housekeeping practices and ensuring the proper use and care of basic shop tools.

You will also be tasked with the safe and proper use of acetylene torches for cutting and heating, as well as performing basic plumbing techniques and building maintenance. Your role will include repairing wire belt and plastic conveyors, and working with various mechanical and electrical systems._

• _Responsibilities_
• + •_Observe good housekeeping practices at all times.

• + •_Properly use and care for basic shop tools, such as grinders, saws, drills, and bearing presses, and ensure all tools are replaced after use.

_

• + •_Safely and properly use acetylene torches for cutting and heating.

_

• + •_Perform basic plumbing techniques, including soldering pipes and cutting/gluing PVC.

_

• + •_Demonstrate the ability to replace basic component parts on equipment, such as valves, bearings, filters, and V-belts.

_

• + •_Perform basic building maintenance tasks, such as painting, cleaning, and building repairs.

_

• + •_Repair wire belt and plastic conveyors.

_

• + •_Possess working knowledge of chain/sprocket and belt/pulley systems, as well as flex and rigid coupling type drives, including the ability to break and splice various types of chain.

_

• _Essential Skills_
• + •_Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

• + •_Repair and preventive maintenance.

_

• + •_Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

_

• + •_Electrical troubleshooting, particularly with low voltage electrical systems dealing with photo eyes and sensors.

• _Additional Skills & Qualifications_
• + •_1+ years of industrial maintenance experience or a trades school certificate in industrial maintenance.

• + •_Experience repairing and troubleshooting motors and gearboxes.

_

• + •_Conveyor experience is preferred.

_

• + •_Maintenance technicians are required to have their own tools_•Job Type & Location•This is a Permanent position based out of Fairfield, OH.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $23.

00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
