Maintenance Technician I The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on hospital facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, functional, and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to healthcare regulatory standards.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
High School Diploma or equivalent required ;or currently enrolled in an accredited technical or vocational training program..
Experience:
Minimum 1 years of maintenance experience preferred in a healthcare or commercial setting. Other technical or professional experience may substituted with approval from facilities leadership. Valid Driver's License and ability to be insured by Holzer required OR Maintenance Technician II Maintenance Technician II performs advanced maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of hospital facilities and equipment. This role requires a higher level of technical expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to lead or mentor junior technicians while adhering to healthcare regulatory standards.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
High School Diploma or equivalent; accredited technical or vocational training program required. Military Experience with emphasis in maintenance/technology may be substituted for a certification. Valid Driver's License and ability to be ensured by Holzer required. Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling, welding, low voltage, electrical safety required. Experience outside of Holzer above 5 years may be considered in lieu of certification. OR Maintenance Technician III Maintenance Technician III performs advanced maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of hospital facilities and equipment. This role requires a higher level of technical expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to lead or mentor junior technicians while adhering to healthcare regulatory standards.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Technical Degree or associate's degree required.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting. Valid Driver's License and ability to be insured by Holzer required.

HHS Maintenance Schedule:
Full Time, Day Shift, 7am-3:30pm
