PM Duties/Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control breakdowns. Keep up-to-date w/ PM Schedule. Relocate/install plant equipment & accompanying utilities. Fabrication & light machining. Rebuilding mechanical equipment (includes small parts assembly) General facilities maintenance Participate in training of employees new to maintenance staff Maintain maintenance shop, tools, and small/spare parts inventory Keep machine repair logs, equipment files, & parts list up to date Keep all processes and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards Plant electrical and mechanical systems documented and in good working order Maintain a safe and clean workspace and follow established safety rules and regulations Locating vendor supplied parts, ordering parts, and creating requisitions Maintenance performed on a proactive (preventative) basis in lieu of reactive (breakdown) basis whenever possible. Organize daily activity in following priority: First

• keep production equipment running Second
• preventative maintenance Third
• project assignments, training, and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

Excellent reading, writing, & math skills; read electrical diagrams & part drawings Effectively use Micrometers, indicators, calipers, and similar measuring tools Skills in the use of Punches, drills, taps, reamers, saws, hoists, ladders, and similar mechanics tools Able to use Acetylene torch and welding equipment and Arc Welding. Strong attention to detail and problem solving, and ability to troubleshoot using electrical schematics Basic computer skills

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Prior experience in a Maintenance position at a manufacturing facility is a must

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
