What You'll Do Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment using schematics, technical drawings, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments.
• Safely remove, transport, and reinstall machine components using hoists, and forklifts and cranes
• Operate machine tools, welding equipment, and fabrication equipment to repair or modify components when necessary.
• Utilize precision measuring devices to verify repairs and equipment alignment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
• Investigate equipment failures and determine root causes.
• Recommend and implement improvements that increase equipment reliability and production efficiency. Teamwork & Communication
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and fellow Maintenance Technicians to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities accurately using maintenance logs or computerized maintenance systems.
• Communicate equipment status and ongoing repairs during shift handoffs. Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
• Experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of motors, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and electrical controls.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field.
• Two or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Multi-craft maintenance certification or equivalent experience.
• PLC troubleshooting experience; basic programming knowledge is a plus.
• Robotics and automation experience.
• Welding and machining experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
