Immediate Job Description:
I. Services. The Contractor shall provide a qualified Safety Consultant whose responsibilities for this project will include:
  • Conducting regular site safety observations.
  • Identifying potential safety hazards during site activities.
  • Advising, recommending, and warning the Client and/or Sub-Contractors of any safety risks observed.
  • Supporting the implementation of corrective actions to mitigate identified hazards.
  • Promoting compliance with applicable safety regulations, standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Coordinating the work permits whenever applicable for hot work. Making sure the Contractor has all the required information
  • Check the areas where hot work is being executed and make sure all is done as per permit
  • Primary contact between Plant safety and Project safety
  • Reviewing Contractor safety plans and facilitate reviewing with site and project
  • Verifying that contractor personnel is trained before starting the job II. Deliverables. 1.Daily Safety Reports
  • Summary of site observations
  • Noted hazards and corrective actions
  • Attendance and activities of safety personnel 2.Incident and Near-Miss Reports
  • Detailed documentation of any incidents
  • Root cause analysis and recommended preventive measures 3.Safety Audits and Inspection Reports
  • Regular site inspections
  • Compliance checks with safety standards and regulations 4.Toolbox Talk Records
  • Daily or weekly safety briefings
  • Attendance sheets and topics discussed 5.Training Records
  • Safety induction for new workers
  • Specialized training (e.g., working at heights, confined spaces) 6.Permit to Work Documentation
  • Issuance and tracking of permits for high-risk activities 7.Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Identification of hazards for specific tasks
  • Mitigation measures and safe work procedures 8.Emergency Preparedness Plans
  • Site-specific emergency response plans
  • Evacuation routes and contact lists 9.PPE Compliance Logs
  • Monitoring and enforcement of proper PPE usage
  • Inventory and issuance records 10.Weekly/Monthly Safety Performance Reports
  • KPIs such as TRIR, LTIR, and safety observations
