In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering top-notch maintenance services to keep our operations running smoothly. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, kitchen appliances, and other facility machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repairs and installations, ensuring all kitchen equipment functions optimally. Maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating components to ensure optimal climate control. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical failures promptly to minimize downtime. Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports for compliance and future reference. Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems following safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with team members and other departments regarding maintenance needs or issues. Lead small teams or projects when required, demonstrating leadership in maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems, appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and kitchen equipment. Skilled in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems. Experience with HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Knowledge of appliance repair, installation procedures, and service techniques for various types of equipment. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices to ensure continuous operational efficiency. Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to transportation safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams effectively.
