Job Description
Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician performs day-to-day inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of buildings and equipment. HVAC Certification is required for this position. Responsibilities Perform daily inspections of building systems and equipment. Complete installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs involving: HVAC systems Plumbing Electrical Carpentry General building maintenance Respond to emergency maintenance situations and evaluate and correct defects. Assist other trades as needed. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment. Attend regular team meetings. Accurately complete work orders and required documentation. Provide excellent customer service to residents, tenants, and clients. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors through written, electronic, and verbal methods. Participate on-call responsibilities Qualifications Current HVAC Certification (Required) Experience in commercial or residential building maintenance preferred. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
