Duct Installer

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Commercial / Industrial HVAC Duct Installers for contract-based projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background installing, modifying, and repairing HVAC ductwork in commercial or industrial environments and can work independently or as part of a crew to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Install, assemble, and hang commercial and industrial HVAC duct systems (sheet metal, spiral, rectangular, etc.). Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Measure, cut, and fit ductwork and related materials. Seal, insulate, and test duct systems to meet code and project requirements. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding as needed. Follow jobsite safety protocols and OSHA standards. Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades on-site.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a commercial or industrial HVAC duct installer. Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings. Knowledge of SMACNA standards and industry best practices. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain). Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Welding or fabrication experience a plus. Own basic hand tools.
