Job Description

Buckeye Pumps is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Field Technician to support industrial service, installation, maintenance, and repair operations in the Marysville, Ohio area. This position works alongside experienced technicians and service personnel supporting rotating equipment and industrial mechanical systems at customer facilities, including wastewater applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical assembly, or field service experience who are looking to grow within an industrial service environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with installation, alignment, dismantling, and movement of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Perform preventive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, vibration, and alignment concerns Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Assist with troubleshooting and repair of pumps, motors, and related mechanical equipment Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively Work closely with experienced technicians, electricians, and engineers on customer projects Support work in industrial and wastewater environments Maintain accurate service records, labor entries, and parts usage through job tracking systems Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and customer site safety procedures Participate in ongoing technical and safety training Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Technical school, vocational training, or trade experience preferred 2-4 years of industrial maintenance, mechanical service, millwright, or field service experience preferred Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience working with rotating equipment preferred (pumps, motors, compressors, etc.) Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform mechanical assembly/disassembly Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics Experience using industrial hand and power tools Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in industrial and wastewater environments Ability to lift equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions Valid driver's license required Ability to travel regionally for field service assignments as needed HP123#
Pay:
$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
