Job Description
Medina Creative Housing is a nonprofit organization that provides housing, services, and supports for adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position helps maintain our homes, facilities, and other properties throughout the area. You'll handle a variety of everyday maintenance and repair needs while helping ensure our properties remain safe, clean, functional, and well maintained. What You'll Do Perform general maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, and other building repairs. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs. Complete assigned work orders safely, efficiently, and with attention to quality. Perform routine and preventive maintenance at company properties. Identify potential safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or needed repairs and communicate them to management. Work with supervisors and staff at our various locations to keep properties in good working condition. Travel between company properties using company vehicles. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Maintain accurate records and submit receipts, paperwork, and other required documentation. Follow company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable health and safety standards. Participate in required training and continuing education. Assist with other maintenance projects and duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate company vehicles. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Comfortable working with basic hand and power tools. General maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or similar experience is preferred but not required . We're willing to train the right person who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn. Pay:
