Job Description

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturing facility in Medina, OH. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role focused on troubleshooting and repairing automated production equipment in a refrigerated/freezing environment.

We are looking for a mid-level technician with strong electrical, pneumatic, and basic PLC troubleshooting skills. Experience with the facility's specific equipment is not expected, as much of the machinery is proprietary and training is provided on the shift you are hired for. ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issuesDiagnose motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, control circuits, and PLC inputs/outputsPerform basic PLC troubleshootingTroubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to 480VACRead electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentationRepair conveyors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other production equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdownsSupport equipment changeovers, setup, and adjustmentsIdentify root causes of recurring equipment failuresDocument maintenance work and repairs in the CMMS QualificationsIndustrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceStrong electrical troubleshooting skillsHands-on pneumatic troubleshooting experienceBasic PLC troubleshooting knowledge, advanced PLC skills are a plusExperience troubleshooting motors, VFDs, sensors, and industrial controlsAbility to safely use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical equipment up to 480VACMechanical troubleshooting and repair experienceAbility to read electrical schematicsComfortable working in a refrigerated/freezing food production environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPrevious food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
