This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role focused on troubleshooting and repairing automated production equipment in a refrigerated/freezing environment. We are looking for a mid-level technician with strong electrical, pneumatic, and basic PLC troubleshooting skills. Experience with the facility's specific equipment is not expected, as much of the machinery is proprietary and training is provided on the shift you are hired for. Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues Diagnose motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, control circuits, and PLC inputs/outputs Perform basic PLC troubleshooting Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to 480VAC Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation Repair conveyors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other production equipment Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns Support equipment changeovers, setup, and adjustments Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures Document maintenance work and repairs in the CMMS Qualifications Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Hands-on pneumatic troubleshooting experience Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge, advanced PLC skills are a plus Experience troubleshooting motors, VFDs, sensors, and industrial controls Ability to safely use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical equipment up to 480VAC Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience Ability to read electrical schematics Comfortable working in a refrigerated/freezing food production environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Previous food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
