Job Description

Job Overview We are actively seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Maintenance Person to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and building interiors. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and building interior components. Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and electrical tools to ensure optimal performance. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and maintaining drainage systems. Carry out carpentry tasks such as repairs to walls, doors, windows, and other interior structures. Utilize welding skills for metal repairs or fabrication projects as needed. Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and ensuring proper operation for comfort and safety. Use hand tools and electrical equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols; maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Assist with facilities maintenance projects including painting (residential or commercial), schematics interpretation, and general building upkeep. Support maintenance painting tasks to enhance the appearance of interior spaces. Collaborate with team members to address customer service needs related to facility issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Skilled in electrical work, plumbing repairs, HVAC system repair, carpentry, welding, and use of hand tools. Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring and mechanical systems; ability to read technical diagrams confidently. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not required. Ability to operate an ohmmeter effectively for electrical troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices within residential or commercial settings. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of following detailed instructions clearly. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
