Job Description

Maintenance Technician Description The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing maintenance tasks and repairs while contributing to a safe and cost-effective work environment.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance for production lines including electrical and mechanical repairs, replace components such as: motors and motor drives, pumps, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, transmissions, make adjustments keeping in mind quality, tolerances and order of operations. Work from schedules, work orders, manuals, blueprints, charts and instructions. Use precision measuring devise (multimeters, calipers, etc.) Maintain, repair and install a wide variety of machine parts, components and equipment. Effectively communicate with peers, production associates, and supervision. Hours for this job are Monday-Friday 6am-4pm
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must have knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (including 120/480 volts) Must have experience and knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting Must demonstrate an understanding of safe work environment and have a proven ability to work safely Must have a solid work history showing the ability to maintain a good attendance record Plastic extrusion experience is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree/certificate in related field or Comparable manufacturing experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of standing, walking Intermittent periods of crouching, kneeling, working in confined areas and in varied temperatures and outdoors as necessary to safely service equipment. Ability to lift 25 lbs
Pay:
From $27.00 per hour
