Job type : 1 year contract (potential to extend or to be hired after) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing and support equipment within a regulated manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with experience in a GMP/cGMP-regulated environment preferred. This position will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain equipment reliability, safety, compliance, and inspection readiness. Responsibilities Support the maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and support systems. Provide technical support to Engineering and Operations for the design, installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities and complete all required documentation in accordance with cGMP guidelines. Maintain pumps, valves, motors, lubrication systems, and pharmaceutical packaging equipment. Ensure assigned equipment and associated subsystems are maintained in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, procedures, and company policies. Maintain assigned equipment areas in a constant state of inspection readiness. Coordinate contractors performing equipment repairs, modifications, and installations. Work directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams on new equipment installations and system modifications. Identify training deficiencies and provide recommendations or training as appropriate. Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance practices, procedures, and documentation. Read and interpret P&IDs, SOPs, engineering drawings, and other technical documents. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems, including Maximo, to document maintenance activities and work orders. Identify and implement opportunities for process and maintenance improvements. Attend required cGMP and safety training and maintain all assigned qualifications. Qualifications 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. Experience in a GMP/cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred. Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging equipment operation, maintenance, and repair. Strong working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, lubrication systems, and related equipment. Experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and techniques. Ability to read, interpret, create, and revise engineering documents. Ability to read and understand P&IDs and SOPs. Ability to work both day and night shifts based on operational requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations of up to 15 feet.
