Job Description

Job Overview :
The Industrail Maintenance Techinician is responsible for performing general maintenenace and repair tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of thr facility and equipment. This position requires the ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, amd perform a vareity of maintenance tasks including light electrical, plumbing, painting, and equipment operation.
Essenetial Duties and Responsiblities :
Operate forklifts and manlifts safely & efficiently. Perform light electrical repairs and basic plumbing maintenance. Complete painting and general fcaility maintenance projects. Safely lift and move heavy materials & equipment Work from ladders and elevated platforms while following all safety procedures. Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks. Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on facility equipment. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work eniviroment. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Work independently with minimal supervision while managing daily responsibilties. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding maintenance needs and completed work. Perform other maintenance•related duites as assigned.
Qualifications :
Ability to operate a forklift and manlift ( certification preferred or abiity to become certified.) Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs. Experience usng hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demading work. Comforatble workign on ladders and at elevated heights. Strong problem•solving skils and the ability to work independently. Good Verbal skills. Commitment to workplace saety and safe work practices. #CMP2
Pay:
$18.00•$21.00 per hour
