Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Route Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will manage a dedicated route of residential and commercial pools, ensuring proper water chemistry, routine cleaning, and equipment functionality to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities Routine Pool Care:
Perform weekly cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing for assigned pools and spas following company standards.
Openings & Closings:
Assist with seasonal pool openings and winterization closings.
Equipment Inspection:
Check pumps, filters, and related pool equipment to ensure everything is operating correctly; report repairs or issues promptly to the service office.
Communication & Record Keeping:
Complete daily customer service reports using phone applications and submit required vehicle and inventory paperwork.
Vehicle & Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate truck inventory, keep service vehicles clean, and follow routine vehicle maintenance schedules.
Team Support:
Collaborate with team members and support the Service Department Manager as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Driver's License:
Valid driver's license and able to operate company vehicles.
Experience:
Prior pool maintenance experience or basic pool knowledge preferred, though willing to train the right candidate.
Work Schedule:
Ability to work a Monday through Friday full-time schedule.
Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable using mobile apps and email on a daily basis.
Soft Skills:
Strong customer service, verbal/written communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor, including regularly lifting and moving up to 100 lbs in outdoor weather conditions. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
