We are looking for a Residential Maintenance Technician to join our growing team and play an important role in maintaining the quality, comfort, and appearance of the properties we manage. Responsibilities Responding to daily residential maintenance requests and work orders Troubleshooting and performing repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and general building maintenance Diagnosing problems and completing repairs efficiently and professionally Conducting property and preventative maintenance inspections Preparing vacant units for new residents through detailed inspections, repairs, touch-ups, and make-ready work Completing unit turns within established timelines and ICON quality standards Responding to resident requests with professionalism, courtesy, and a customer-service mindset Identifying potential safety, maintenance, or property concerns and communicating them promptly Supporting seasonal property needs including irrigation, filters, exterior maintenance, and other preventative tasks Maintaining accurate work-order notes, inspections, and maintenance records in AppFolio Assisting with move-in and move-out inspections Coordinating with vendors when specialized work is required and helping ensure quality standards are met Maintaining an organized, safe, and professional work environment Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies Join us as a Residential Maintenance Technician where your skills will directly impact the quality of life for residents while advancing your career in a vibrant environment committed to excellence! We are looking for someone who is : Experienced in residential or multifamily maintenance A strong problem solver who can diagnose issues and determine the best course of action Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team Dependable, organized, and responsive Professional when interacting with residents, vendors, and coworkers Detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship Able to prioritize multiple work orders and changing priorities Comfortable using technology and learning maintenance/property management software Safety-conscious and committed to protecting the properties and people we serve Willing to take ownership of a job from the initial work order through completion
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:
