The Installation Technician ensures countertop installations are completed safely and free of defects. The Installation Technician confirms that the installation meets or exceeds the homeowner expectations aesthetically and functionally.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Interacts professionally with home owners during job site inspections Sets customer expectations for the installation process Handles customer questions in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service Installs job specific material following installation specifications Repairs simple, cosmetic, surface defects Wears and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Performs installation inspections and measurements for accuracy Unloads/moves granite from truck into home; enlist assistance when larger granite pieces are carried into the home Uses hand power tools to install material Monitors installation needs and adjust work to be accomplished according to available skill sets The Installation Technician must perform safely and competently when installing countertops. The Installation Technician ensures countertop installation quality and aesthetic. The Installation Technician must be mindful of respecting and protecting the customer's home during the installation process. Challenges may include assessing and repairing defects that are discovered during the installation process. The Installation Technician must satisfy all customer questions and concerns or direct them to the appropriate source for information. The Installation Technician will receive any necessary guidance and supervision from the Installation Lead. However, the expectation is that the Installation Technician is self initialized and can function independently with minimal supervision. Loading and positioning of product on trucks Matching epoxy color for countertop seams Making minor countertop repairs in customer's home Determining whether a team lift is necessary for handling product The Installation Technician must receive approval to rotate into another position by the Installation Supervisor.

High school diploma or GED equivalent Good math and reading comprehension Possesses good spatial intelligence Good verbal and communication skills Good interpersonal skills Good knowledge of stone Safety focused around tools and equipment Demonstrated track record of good attendance Self directed and can work well independently and also with little supervision Effectively priorities work and possesses good time management skills Highly motivated and goal oriented Good logic and problem solving skills Able to stand, stoop and bend for long periods of time and be able to lift 70 pounds Must have current valid drivers license
