Job Description

About this role: We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician 2 to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician 2 you will deliver excellent customer service by performing unit make-readies and maintenance requirements including; assisting with snow removal, grounds upkeep, equipment upkeep and basic level service requests as needed. This is a training role that will provide opportunities to further the employees' level of proficiency within the maintenance trade.
Additional responsibilites include:
Physical activities related to exterior grounds maintenance. Janitorial duties helping to preserve and maintain any aspect of the apartment community and its facilities. Pool water management if applicable. Working alone or with other maintenance personnel to perform unit make-ready process as well as intermediate level repairs (i.e. Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Appliance Repair, HVAC & Painting). Participating in move-in/out inspection process. General property maintenance as identified by supervisor. Participating in snow event preparation and removal. Responsible for responding to periodic after hours "emergency" maintenance requests. Participating in community and equipment related preventative maintenance tasks. Participating in inventory management of maintenance line items as needed. Taking responsibility for other work-related tasks as assigned by Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements:
: Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with emergency on-call rotation as designated by the Community Manager Willingness to float between multiple communities in the greater Columbus area throughout the week. 1 or more years of related experience that demonstrates a broad knowledge of general maintenance EPA Type I & II, CAMT, and/or CPO certifications are a plus! Exceptional attention to detail A positive, team-oriented attitude A valid driver's license with proof of insurance High school diploma or equivalent
