Hours of Job Full Time- 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) Every other weekend and rotating holiday schedule Duties and Key Responsibilities Performs under the supervision of the Coordinator and/or Unit Leader. The 1st & 3rd shift Floor Care is responsible for performing floor care duties throughout the facility, assuring the proper disposal of both solid and infectious waste, and performing Environmental Services Technician duties as needed. Orders cleaning supplies, paper products, and plastic liners as needed per assigned work area. Maintains floor care equipment per manufacturer's recommendations. Performs all other duties assigned to ensure the department meets its responsibilities to the patient, customer, and Hospital Mission. 2nd shift Floor Care Technician is solely Floor Care. Requirements D.O.T. Yearly Requirements Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Education/Certifications High School diploma or equivalent. Experience Previous floor care experience in health care Housekeeping preferred.
