Job Description
Overview This Maintenance Tech position offers up to 32 hours per week now (8a-4p) and will reduce over time. Apply to learn more and how this could work with your schedule. The position starts at $18.00/hr and increases with experience. Responsibilities Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners. Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc. Assists with moving of residents' furnishings as needed. Paints residents' living quarters as needed. Assists with the on-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure. Assists with maintaining documentation of fire safety evacuation plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm testing, fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records. Assists with transportation tasks as needed. Performs any other duties as assigned.
