Overview We're hiring a Senior Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support and elevate a world-class manufacturing operation producing consumer chemical and body products. This facility integrates chemical batching, precision filling, and high-speed automated packaging, driven by advanced robotics, servo-controlled systems, modern instrumentation, and a range of legacy mechanical equipment. This elevated role is designed for a technician who is both a master troubleshooter and a team leader. You'll be the go-to expert for complex mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation challenges, someone who can diagnose any issue independently, implement long-term solutions, and raise the overall technical standard of the maintenance department. The ideal technician brings deep hands-on expertise and the ability to train, coach, and guide others. You'll help shape maintenance culture, drive CMMS accuracy, develop preventive/predictive programs, and help the team become more self-reliant and technically confident. Compensation $38

• Lead mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on mixers, batching tanks, fillers, cappers, robotics cells, conveyors, and older mechanical systems; perform expert-level rebuilds, alignments, and component replacements. Electrical & Controls Expertise
• Diagnose faults in 24V-480V systems, drives, servos, encoders, robotics, and automation hardware; identify root causes quickly and implement permanent corrective actions. Automation, Robotics & Motion Systems

• Lead systematic troubleshooting efforts, facilitate RCA sessions, and propose long-term solutions that eliminate repeat failures; contribute to process redesigns, equipment upgrades, and automation improvements. Training, Mentoring & Culture Building

Requirements Required Experience:

5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Mechanical Skills:

Equipment teardown/rebuild, alignments, bearings, pumps, mixers, conveyors, and mechanical troubleshooting

Electrical Skills :

Low

• and high-voltage troubleshooting (24V-480V), motors, sensors, relays, wiring, drives, and control panels

Controls Knowledge:

Ability to diagnose PLC I/O, faults, sensors, encoders, and servo-driven equipment

Pneumatics & Hydraulics:

Maintenance of cylinders, valves, actuators, pumps, air systems

Schematics:

Ability to read electrical prints, mechanical drawings, pneumatic schematics, and wiring diagrams

Troubleshooting:

Independent problem-solver capable of diagnosing equipment issues without engineering intervention

Preferred Controls & PLCs:

Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix/CompactLogix), PLC troubleshooting, minor logic edits

Robotics:

Experience with automated palletizers, pick-and-place robots, or servo-driven motion systems

Instrumentation:

Calibration and maintenance of sensors, load cells, vision systems, or process instrumentation

Vision Systems:

Experience with camera-based inspection systems used for quality and orientation

CMMS:

Familiarity with digital maintenance tracking systems

Education:

A.S. in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or equivalent technical training
