Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold the building's safety and aesthetic standards. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical problems efficiently. Maintain plumbing systems through repairs, leak detection, and system upgrades to prevent disruptions for residents. Operate hand tools and electrical equipment safely while completing maintenance tasks with precision. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership in maintaining high standards of service. Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping and compliance purposes. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, carpentry, welding, and painting. Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, electrical equipment repair, and facilities equipment maintenance. Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics for troubleshooting complex systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and the use of hand tools for various repair tasks. Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures in residential settings. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical skills in plumbing system maintenance and repair. Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical issues with tools like ohmmeters and repairing electrical equipment. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents and team members. Ability to perform building interior maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, HVAC servicing, and general facilities upkeep.
