Maintenance Technician - $26+/Hour Streetsboro, Ohio | On-Site Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician in Streetsboro! This is a Direct Hire position! Our client is a growing manufacturer of advanced power distribution equipment used in data centers and other critical industries. They are looking for a total of 4 dependable, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician who can help keep the facility, equipment, and work areas operating safely and efficiently. This is not an entry-level maintenance position. We're looking for someone who is comfortable troubleshooting problems, making repairs, working independently, and jumping in wherever needed. ? Pay Starting at $26.00/hour ? What You'll Be Doing This is a hands-on, facility-wide maintenance position.

Your day may include:

Inspecting the building and grounds for maintenance or safety concerns Performing general building and facility repairs Repairing walls, floors, doors, windows, and other structural items Maintaining and troubleshooting lighting systems Assisting with HVAC and plumbing maintenance Completing preventative maintenance to help reduce equipment breakdowns Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues Documenting completed maintenance and identifying potential problems Moving materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility Operating a forklift/high-low when needed Maintaining tools, replacement parts, and maintenance supplies Keeping maintenance areas, storage rooms, and common areas clean and organized Supporting other departments with maintenance and hands-on projects as needed Following all safety procedures and properly using PPE ?? What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have previous industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance experience and be comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities.

You should have:

Previous hands-on maintenance experience Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with general facility repairs Forklift/high-low experience Strong attention to detail Good organizational and documentation skills Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate different programs Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Flexibility to work overtime when needed High school diploma or GED required Technical or trade school education is a plus ?
