Skilled Maintenance Technician

Cherry Ridge Facility (1550 County Road 140 Sugarcreek, OH 44681) Summary This position requires a highly self-motivated and detailed individual with great time management skills to be part of the Maintenance team whose primary responsibilities are the mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs of production equipment at the Cherry Ridge facility. Candidate is expected to uphold and represent ProVia' s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform preventative and general maintenance on production equipment. Able to effectively troubleshoot to find a solution. Able to follow a schedule for repairs set by the Maintenance Supervisor that will allow all areas of production to continue to flow. Bending and hanging conduit and make wire runs and connections to equipment. Install and Repair Electrical and Mechanical Equipment. Operate a forklift to move material around, load/unload, lift/move material which may weigh up to 75 pounds. Work alongside the team as needed to keep Production running daily. Perform any other duties as instructed by leadership. Job Requirements Include but are not limited to the following: Electrical Experience with 110, 240 and 480-volt 3 phase is required PLC Troubleshooting and knowledge preferred but not required Metal Fabrication/Welding experience Hydraulics and Pneumatics Other Job Requirements Include but are not limited to the following: Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Quick thinker and able to adapt to any situation. Excellent time management skills to carry out the daily checklist. Able to maintain a positive attitude during stressful situations. Team Oriented Physical Requirements This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands and fingers and reach and lift up to 50 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (possibly in confined spaces). The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands and can climb ladders and/or work in high places.
