Full-Time Maintenance Technician The Inn at Walnut Trail | Monday - Friday The Inn at Walnut Trail is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep, safety, and appearance of our senior living community. In this Monday-Friday role, you'll perform floor care, general maintenance, painting, some electrical and plumbing repairs, and other facility needs that help create a comfortable, dignified home for our residents. • Perform floor care duties including carpet cleaning, scrubbing, buffing, and waxing.
• Complete painting projects and touch-ups throughout the community.
• Assist with general maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep.
• Perform some electrical tasks such as replacing light fixtures, bulbs, switches, and troubleshooting basic issues.
• Perform some plumbing tasks including unclogging drains, fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and maintaining restroom fixtures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot housekeeping, floor care, and basic maintenance equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and safety checks.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident, staff, and guest maintenance requests.
• Monitor, organize, and restock maintenance supplies.
• Report safety hazards, damages, and repair needs immediately.
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth daily operations. Qualifications
• Previous experience in maintenance, environmental services, or facility support preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Customer-service-focused attitude with professionalism and patience.
• Comfortable working in a senior living environment.
• Basic English communication skills.
