Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at S&G. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities at our gas station. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency. A company vehicle will be provided for travel purposes.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gas station equipment, including fuel pumps, air compressors, plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration units. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime. Collaborate with management to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a gas station or similar environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license.
