Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment and systems operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting our commitment to excellence. Your hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset will be instrumental in keeping our operations running seamlessly every day. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and appliances to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair issues related to appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical components following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using schematics, technical diagrams, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct regular safety checks on all equipment and systems; maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation of repairs performed. Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks; lead small repair projects when necessary while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and mechanical systems maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, air conditioning systems, and HVAC/R technology. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within commercial or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or internal teams. Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior technicians or team members during maintenance projects. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
