Redwood Living, Inc. is seeking a skilled Multi-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team, dedicated to maintaining the integrity and quality of our unique single-story apartment communities. This role is essential in providing a comfortable and safe living environment for our residents, focusing particularly on older adults who cherish maintenance-free living. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple sites, ensuring all maintenance issues are swiftly and effectively resolved while upholding our high standards of service and quality. Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs across various apartment sites. Inspect buildings, systems, and appliances to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Respond to service requests and prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, inspections, and repairs. Coordinate with site managers and other maintenance staff to schedule repairs and routine maintenance. Ensure all tools and maintenance equipment are in good working order and maintained properly. Facilitate and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of facilities and minimize future repairs. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and ensure compliance with state and local regulations. Required Skills Proficiency in handling various maintenance tools and equipment Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
