Together, we secure everything from family garages to the world's most iconic stadiums and skyscrapers. We currently have an opening for a Weekend Door Builder in our Troy, Ohio location. Please read through the responsibilities before applying. Weekend Door Builders starting pay is $20.28 plus $2.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $26.65 after 24 months.
Shift Schedule:
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7am to 7pm. Must be willing to train on 1st shift for four weeks Monday through Friday from 5am to 3pm.
Responsibilities include:
Assemble garage doors using various hand tools, power tools, and operating equipment, in accordance with standard operating procedures. Apply appropriate identifying labels to doors and/or boxes, where required. Visually inspect parts for defects; replace parts that don't meet quality specifications. Keeping area and equipment clean and well maintained. Adhering to all safety training, policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to lift 30 - 50 lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace. Carpentry experience is required. Basic knowledge of hardware required for various door models. Ability to read and write a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity. Ability to meet production and quality standards. Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team. Why Choose a Career With Us?
