Job Description

Now hiring a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in Norton, OH . 1st
Shift:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime may be required during emergencies. Weekly pay at $25.00 per hour or B.O.E The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting facility operations to keep production running efficiently.
Job Duties:
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
  • Assist with maintaining production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Document maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Work closely with production staff to minimize downtime
Requirements:
Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred. Knowledge of pneumatic systems required. Basic 480-volt electrical knowledge preferred. Hydraulic system experience is a plus. Extrusion line experience is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working around production equipment throughout the shift. Applicants must have their own transportation and submit a resume.
