Basic Job Functions:
The Facility Technician will support Facilities and Maintenance operations with day-to-day maintenance and repairs of facility building equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner. The successful individual will have a broad knowledge of facility equipment, working knowledge of maintenance operations and a problem solver.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GED and at least 5 years in a manufacturing setting or relevant experience or Skilled Electrical or Mechanical Trade experience with 3 years in a manufacturing setting or relevant experience or Associate degree in a technical discipline with 3 years in a manufacturing setting or relevant experience. Must be mechanically inclined with solid working knowledge of facilities systems. Demonstrated experience with commercial building utility power, air compressors, emergency generators, plumbing, fire detection or facility systems. Able to detect and resolve problems using professional knowledge and strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of
MAXIMO CMMS.
Required Skills/Competencies:
Knowledge of building electrical, mechanical and HVAC with a strong emphasis on electrical systems. Knowledge of
OSHA 70E
Arc Flash programs and LOTO. Knowledge of facility Building Management Systems, access control, security, life safety, and fire systems. Experience with blueprints, equipment manuals, specifications and equipment trouble shooting. Hands on position working with tools to accomplish repairs. Ability to work with little supervision. Demonstrated troubleshooting skill. Excellent communications skills. A team player with the ability to work well with internal and external teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
Interfaces with other departments, contractor, and supplier personnel. Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards. Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings. Assist with office moves including furniture, cubicle changes and moving people throughout campus. Maintains Perrysburg building and grounds facilities using applicable resources and equipment. Assist with installation of all signage and safety equipment on campus. Performs other assignments as required. Job description subject to change at any time This position will perform mechanical and plumbing work, general maintenance working with inspectors, contractors, and department liaisons as requested. Routine duties include the identification, troubleshooting and repair of any irregular conditions on equipment, timely follow-up on work orders, performing preventative maintenance. Minor electrical and plumbing repairs and small projects throughout PBG Camp Other duties as assigned. Job description subject to change at any time.

$26.97-$38.46
US Physical Requirements:
Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift. Will climb stairs on an occasional basis. Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on an occasional basis. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis. 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards). All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair). Potential candidates will meet the education and experience requirements provided on the above job description and excel in completing the listed responsibilities for this role.
