Job Description
Job description We are currently seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.
•$1200 Sign on bonus

Essential Job Duties:
Perform preventative maintenance on the lasers, sheet leveler, overhead hoists, forklifts and other equipment in the facility. Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime to production. Estimate time and extent of repairs. Perform routine preventive maintenance. Maintain material and supply inventory. Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary. Other projects as assigned by management.
Qualification and Education Requirements:
Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience required. Experience with troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, circuits, PLCs, etc. Experience troubleshooting Tanaka lasers Trumpf lasers and/or Fanuc controls a plus. Experience troubleshooting sheet pickler lines, temper mills, shears, slitters a plus. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Deadline and detail-oriented. Ability to operate a computer and/or tablet device. Good communication and reading skills. Ability to multi-task and trouble-shoot in a fast-paced work environment.
