Who Are We? American Auger s is a division of The Toro Company located in West Salem, Ohio. American Auger s builds the largest horizontal directional drills in the industry, and a full range of auger boring machines. With the rugged user in mind, American Auger s rigs are built to last and backed by 24-hour worldwide support.
Starting pay depending on skills/experience:
Technician I:
$25-27 hourly
Technician II:
$27-30 hourly
Schedule:
Two shifts available, your choice! Monday through Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm What Does an American Augers Maintenance Technician Do? Perform upgrades, repairs, and installations throughout the facility. These activities will be driven by our Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This system provides instruction, manuals, records completion, and track the time for these tasks. Diagnose problems involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Repair, rebuild, and set hydraulic valves, pumps, and cylinders. Use precision measurement tools while setting up equipment and diagnosing problems. Trouble shooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems both high voltage supply circuits and low voltage control circuits. Snow removal during the winter. Perform other duties as assigned. What Elements Do We Look For? 5 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience and/or Journeyman Certification. Electrical experience is a plus. Experience with Computer Maintenance Management System. Programming software for PLCs and Robots preferred. High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. The Toro Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
