Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician
- $30•36/hr | Direct Hire Willoughby Hills, OH | 2nd Shift | Direct Hire Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician who is strongest when you're troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing equipment?
- 36/hour, based on experience 2nd
Shift:
2:00 PM-10:30 PM, Monday-Saturday This is a direct-hire position with full benefits. Overtime may be available/required based on production needs. What You'll Be Working On You'll maintain and troubleshoot a variety of production and packaging equipment, including: Conveyors Bagging and sealing equipment Grading equipment Vacuum packaging equipment Motors, sensors, wiring, and electrical components Other production and material-handling equipment You'll handle both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, complete repairs, test equipment after repairs, and perform preventative maintenance to help minimize downtime. What a Typical Shift Looks Like You'll start your shift by walking the production floor and checking in with operators to identify equipment issues or concerns. From there, you'll have the opportunity to work fairly independently — troubleshooting breakdowns, making repairs, completing preventative maintenance, and keeping equipment operating efficiently. You'll also help maintain parts inventory and occasionally assist with basic facility maintenance. What We're Looking For Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience Ability to diagnose equipment problems and make repairs independently Experience with motors, sensors, wiring, and production machinery Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings Comfortable using hand and power tools PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Comfortable working in both warm and refrigerated production areas Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed Why Consider This Opportunity?
