We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines, production equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, along with experience working with CNC equipment, PLCs, hydraulics, and industrial electrical systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can quickly diagnose equipment issues and perform preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment. Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and control systems. Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Work with low- and high-voltage industrial electrical systems. Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections. Assist with machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of precision equipment. Use precision measuring instruments and diagnostic equipment as needed. Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability. Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and production equipment issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs and preventive maintenance activities. Follow all company safety, quality, and maintenance procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Support continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing operation. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance , preferably in a CNC manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining CNC milling machines and other CNC equipment . Working knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and industrial control systems . Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with low- and high-voltage systems . Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems . Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Familiarity with calibration procedures and precision measuring instruments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance issues. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production personnel. Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is strongly preferred. 3rd Shift Schedule This is a 3rd shift position and requires the ability to work independently during overnight hours. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
