Briarfield Manor is hiring a Floor Care Technician Weekends as Needed / Holiday Rotation As an employee of Briarfield Health Care Centers, you will enjoy competitive wages and benefits! Must have a genuine interest in geriatric work and a willingness to work for the best interest of the facility. Have a positive, upbeat personality and work cooperatively with others. Responsibilities Include Use of floor equipment such as mops, squeegees, buffers, polishers, automatic scrubbers and vacuums required for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors. Exterior work, such as cleaning sidewalks, removing litter and sweeping entrances. Stripping and waxing facility floors Cleaning baseboards throughout the facility Run floor scrubber and dust mop in all hallways, sitting areas, front lobby, dining rooms, basement hallway, kitchen area Any other duties as assigned by supervisor Experience preferred
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED. Must be in good physical and mental health. Must be reliable Must pass a required physical, COVID-19 test and BCI. Ability to work independently or part of a group. Effectively communicate with others, have an upbeat, positive attitude and love caring for the elderly.
