Job Title:
Maintenance Technician -
Portable Plant Operations Employment Type:
Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Technician on behalf of our client to support portable mix plant operations across regional project sites in the Stringtown, OK area. Reporting to the regional Maintenance Manager and collaborating with site leadership, you will execute mechanical repairs, electrical diagnostics, and structural preventive maintenance routines for temporary plant deployments. Key Responsibilities •
Regional Mobility & Plant Maintenance:
Travel dynamically across active temporary plant sites within the territory to execute preventive maintenance (PM) cycles and clear breakdown alerts. •
Mechanical & Pneumatic Repairs:
Maintain and repair central wet drums (tilt systems, drum liners) and dry transit setups (weigh hoppers, pneumatics, air compressors, screw conveyors). •
Safety & Compliance:
Execute field maintenance under strict safety adherence, including multi-point Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, confined space safety, fall protection, and rigging standards. •
Operational Precision:
Align aggregate gates and track conveyor belts to prevent raw material cross-contamination and batching tolerance drift. •
Asset Optimization:
Extend equipment lifecycles through greasing schedules, gear-drive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and efficient parts management. •
Documentation & Work Orders:
Accurately complete daily equipment inspection checklists, parts registries, and work orders for management review.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. •
Experience:
3+ years of mechanical repair, installation, and troubleshooting experience in a heavy industrial, plant, or aggregate environment (or equivalent combination of technical schooling, apprenticeship, and field experience). •
Technical Knowledge:
Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as proficiency with shop tools, welding, and machining equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 to 3 years of specialized technical training, trade apprenticeship, or manufacturer certification.
Environmental & Physical Demands:
• Ability to work in active plant environments, navigate outdoor terrain, and utilize mandatory PPE, including tight-fitting respirators where designated. •

Base Pay:
$28.00 - $38.00 / hour. •
