Testing & Engineering, is a fast-growing, locally owned fencing contractor based in Claremore, Oklahoma. We began by serving residential customers and have since expanded rapidly into commercial and industrial fencing projects across the five-state region. Purpose & Position Summary We're building an elite specialty crew that installs secure fences, gates, and perimeter systems for high-expectation commercial and industrial projects. This role is for broad-skilled operators who can work across multiple trades, solve problems in the field, read site plans, and build to spec with a high level of professionalism. The General Operator helps install specialty fence and perimeter systems in demanding environments. This person may work across welding, equipment operation, concrete, and mechanical installation depending on project needs. The right person is mechanically inclined, works hard, adapts quickly, and can help deliver excellent work on secure, custom, and technically demanding projects. Key Responsibilities Install specialty fence, gate, and perimeter systems on commercial and industrial job sites Read site plans and build to project specifications Support layout, installation, adjustment, and finish work across multiple project types Work with specialty hardware, gates, locks, panic bars, and mechanical components Assist with welding, concrete work, equipment operation, and other field tasks based on skill set and job needs Solve field problems and help the crew keep projects moving Maintain a professional standard of workmanship and job-site conduct Travel to job sites as needed, including periodic overnight travel Install and troubleshoot specialty gates, hardware, locks, panic bars, and other mechanical components Work Conditions Full-time field role Typical schedule around 40 to 50 hours per week, with overtime as needed Travel is part of the role and may include about one week per month on the road depending on project demands What We're Looking For Ability to read plans and build to spec Strong mechanical aptitude Good judgment and a high figured-it-out factor Ability to work hard and handle variety Willingness to learn and grow across multiple specialty areas Ability to operate with increasing independence after instruction Professionalism in high-expectation client environments
Additional Qualifications:
