• Ensuring all plant equipment is always operating safely and efficiently.
• Championing a robust safety culture throughout the organization.
• Conducting timely repairs based on inspections and proactively addressing maintenance needs.
• Attending and contributing to plant maintenance and safety meetings. What You'll Do
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and assist in electrical systems for plants and support facilities.
• Use a full range of tools and equipment-from hand and power tools to hoists, cranes, welding and testing instruments.
• Listen, observe, and troubleshoot equipment issues, collaborating with team members to find and implement solutions.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery, replacing defective parts and ensuring precise, reliable operation.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain plant machinery to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Perform skilled welding and fabrication to repair or enhance equipment.
• Maintain inventory, order essential parts and supplies, and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, operators, and customers-both in person and via radio/telephone.
• Assist fellow maintenance staff and help drive overall plant efficiency.
• Work with 480-volt electrical systems (computer batch panel experience a plus). What We're Looking For
