In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our facility's infrastructure and equipment. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance skills in a fast-paced setting. Your hands-on approach and problem-solving abilities will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of our facility. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities repairs to maintain the building's safety and aesthetic standards. Maintain facilities equipment by replacing parts, repairing systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, electrical work, HVAC system adjustments, and building interior upkeep. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Supervise or assist with projects involving maintenance painting, carpentry, or mechanical upgrades while ensuring quality standards are met. Support maintenance operations by managing maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and documenting work performed. Collaborate with team members or contractors on complex repairs requiring specialized skills such as PLC programming or HVAC system repair. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities; maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, welding, carpentry, or mechanical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical equipment repair, and HVAC systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of building interior maintenance practices including painting (residential or commercial), drywall repair, and general facilities upkeep. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment confidently. Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance procedures for electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building infrastructure. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in managing maintenance teams or projects is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of reading technical manuals and schematics clearly. Customer service orientation with the ability to coordinate effectively with staff or external contractors.
