Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment across our properties. Your expertise will ensure that all spaces are safe, functional, and visually appealing, contributing to a positive environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC units. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to execute projects accurately. Conduct erosion control measures and implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards during all work activities. Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely for equipment repair or installation projects. Assist with climbing structures or ladders to access elevated areas while adhering to workplace safety regulations. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials or equipment while following proper manual handling techniques. Ensure all work sites meet safety regulations by implementing respiratory protection measures and adhering to industrial construction standards. Requirements Proven experience in industrial construction or maintenance environments with a strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, including respiratory protection and heavy lifting protocols. Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work at heights safely. Knowledge of erosion control practices and environmental safety procedures. Strong communication skills to interpret technical instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
