Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join one of our clients here in OKC. This position will provide support in the maintenance and optimization of facility equipment and machinery to maximize uptime and minimize disruptions to plant operations and production. Responsibilities Assist with monitoring the operational status of facility equipment and systems to minimize downtime and identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain maintenance management systems, including work orders, spare parts, and equipment maintenance records. Maintain and repair facility maintenance shop equipment. Coordinate with outside contractors and verify completed work meets requirements. Perform general facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ensure equipment and machinery comply with HSE policies and OSHA regulations. Complete required paperwork and maintenance documentation accurately and on time. Follow established safety and HSE procedures and report unsafe conditions to management. Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 3 years of general facility maintenance experience. At least 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment and systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to work in varying conditions, including temperature, dust, and wind. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to work additional hours as needed. Must be able to obtain and maintain required forklift and crane certifications. Must be able to safely operate and maintain hand and power tools, lifting equipment, and other maintenance equipment.
