MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of basic technical duties under general supervision. Locates and diagnoses failures and does basic troubleshooting of equipment. Also performs repair, replacement, adjustment, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and office facilities/building & grounds as required.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
  • lockout/tag out, PPE, sling and rigging MIG Welding Measuring Equipment
  • tapes, scales, micrometers, calipers, etc. Electrical Maintenance
  • tracing circuits, wiring diagrams, pulling wire, transducers, single phase 120v and three phase 480v Mechanics
  • equipment installation, calibration, pumps, bushings, bearings, shafts, seals, alignment, various pipe fittings Ability to understand and communicate with and through drawings Experience with various hand tools including but not limited to saws, drills and reamers Ability to troubleshoot and use logic and reasoning to define root causes and solve problems Ability to climb a ladder as far as a building's second story, frequently lift up to 50lbs.
, stand, bend and kneel for extended periods of time Ability to communicate verbally and to write in English in order to convey information accurately Ability to drive a forklift and maintain a valid certification
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Speak to others to convey information effectively (via verbal or email communication). Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems. Use problem-solving and root-cause analysis. Maintain facility and make repairs as needed Other duties as assigned
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Three years of experience with maintenance in a manufacturing environment A valid driver license with a clean driving record Ability to be on-call and work overtime as needed Excellent "can-do" attitude with ability to work well with a team or independently with various degrees of supervision Electrical PLC/control panel experience preferred Experience with maintaining liquid injection molding machines preferred for the Owasso facility
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasionally:
reach above shoulder with both hands, lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Frequently:
repeatedly push/pull up to 65 lbs., walk, lift upward with both arms outstretched, count and calculate, communicate details
Constantly:
stand; reach outward with both hands, handle/finger, wrist and elbow flexion, rotation and articulation
Other:
Near point non-color vision, sense of touch, tolerance for temperature in a non-controlled environment
