Job Description
Summary :
Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, and machinery. The maintenance technician will also be responsible for maintenance and repairs in the facility. Performing regular inspections, identify issues, and carry out necessary repairs to ensure functionality and safety.Essential Duties:
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Work safely in conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the facility, equipment and machinery.
- Identifying and diagnosing and performing necessary repairs.
- Follow maintenance schedules and provide corrective action reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with industry-specific equipment and machinery.
- Ability to perform different repair types for maintenance
- Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus
Education/Experience:
- Previous experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance techniques, procedures, and best practices.
- Minimum 2 yrs. related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
- Basic Computer skills for the creation of service reports using tablets.
Other Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
Communication and Teamwork:
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularrly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise environments and extreme temperatures. The facility is an industrial manufacturing plant.
