Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our multi-family property. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, make ready and troubleshooting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess electrical, and plumbing skills, along with a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building interior including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities equipment. Conduct repairs using hand tools and power tools effectively and efficiently. Respond to work orders promptly. Carry out plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure proper operation. Execute maintenance painting projects for residential spaces. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to internal teams or tenants. Participate in on-call rotation. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance or related roles with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and building interior upkeep. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Physical ability to perform manual tasks requiring standing, walking, lifting, bending, or climbing ladders regularly.
